RENT
ピュリッツァー賞も獲得したブロードウェイの大ヒットミュージカルを映画化。（原作/作詞作曲のジョナサン・ラーソンはプレビューの前日に死去。）
８０年代末のニューヨークを舞台に、家賃（RENT）さえも払えない貧しい生活の中、ドラッグやエイズといった様々な問題に直面しながらも夢に向かって生きる若者たちの姿を描く。監督はクリス・コロンバス。ミミ役のロザリオ・ドーソンとジョアンヌ役のトレイシー・トムズ以外の６人は舞台での初演のメンバーが演じている。
今まで観たミュージカル映画の中では一番良かったです（＾０＾）！！なんといっても楽曲に惚れました。特にオープニングの舞台で８人が歌っている「ＳＥＡＳＯＮＳ ＯＦ ＬＯＶＥ」（メチャ好きな曲です）これを予告編で聴いてから、この「ＲＥＮＴ」のことが気になりはじめました。
ストーリー自体も夢と現実に揺れ動く若者たちの葛藤や情熱、そして友情と愛情を素晴らしいダンスと楽曲で表現されていたと思います。俳優陣の演技も素晴らしく、凄くパワーを感じました（＾０＾）！！
１１月にミュージカル「ＲＥＮＴ」の日本公演があるんですけど、チケットが取れることを祈ります。
